Nebraska author gives reading, book signing

Andrew Pollock met with local residents at Lied Imperial Public Library Monday night to discuss his recently released book called “The Snowbound Anthology.” Pollock talked about the stories he had written which were a combination of fiction based on historical facts. One of the titles in the book featured the blizzard of 1949. He shared stories he had heard from his own family and listened to actual accounts experienced by attendees at the signing. He also went into detail giving historical background information about the experience of a boy who would eventually be called Crazy Horse. Before closing with a book signing, Pollock gave a reading of a portion of the story taking place during the blizzard. (Johnson Publications photo)
