More snow could be on way

Last weekend’s snow was still around in a few covered areas on Tuesday, so it was nearly a white Christmas as scenes around town on Sunday showed. But, more may be on the way if National Weather Service forecasts are correct for Chase County. This area appears to be on the edge of a winter storm moving through Nebraska this week. Above, the nativity scene at St. Patrick Catholic Church was snow covered on Sunday, as the Grinch along East 5th Street is likely happy to see a crippling winter storm approach.
