What better way to spend a summer morning than to take your paddle board and kayak out and work on your aquatic skills. Sutton and Samuel Burke, took advantage of the inch and a half of rain we received Wednesday night, by playing in the run-off pond behind the manor. More rain falls in Imperial

Imperial saw some much needed precipitation this week. After getting a half inch on Sunday and another .13 on Monday, town got another .05 Tuesday, 1.5 inches on Wednesday and another .10 on Thursday.
The rain will help with crops and make it much safer for fireworks season. Fireworks went on sale Thursday and will continue through the fourth of July.
This months total so far is 3.22 inches, about a half inch above average, but still over an inch and a half below average for the year.
The forecast isn’t showing much chance of rain in the near future and shows temps rising into the 90’s. That should give this years wheat crop a chance to finish and get harvested.
