More than 200 served at Christmas Day dinner; 30 volunteer

Jill Moline said it was a very rewarding experience.
As chairmen for this year’s Christmas Day dinner with husband Brad, she also believes it’s a needed event.
“I’m not sure where some of them would go. Those who came needed a place for Christmas dinner,” she said.
She said 215 people were served in less than two hours at the Imperial Eagles Club.
Up until a couple weeks ago, the annual dinner, which marked its 12th year this week, didn’t look like it would happen because a chairman had not been secured.
Jill said she and Brad looked at their schedules a few weeks ago after they had planned family Christmas celebrations this past weekend.
