Looking for cover, or to skate?

This young buck may have been sensing that Nebraska’s firearm deer season will open on Saturday. On Monday, several Imperial residents reported seeing the frisky buck, first reported in the Max Addition. He continued to journey south, until taking a little break in Campbell Park, possibly considering some fun at the skatepark. However, he didn’t hang out there long once this photographer attempted to get closer. He quickly dispersed south across West 6th Street and disappeared. (Johnson Publications photo)
