A stream of bomb threats were made across the country last Thursday.
Included in those threats were the Chase County Community Hospital (CCCH) and McCook Elementary School.

Four staff members at CCCH received an email saying there was a bomb in the building and asked for a ransom.
“We reported it to our IT person, Dustin Harris,” CCCH CEO Steve Lewis said.
“We have a process that we go through that we report it to the IT people first so they can investigate,” Lewis said.
After reporting the threat to IT, Harris called 911 as per CCCH bomb threat protocol.
