Local church to offer weekly ‘masked’ service on Saturdays

Along with the nearly year-long pandemic protocols that can be described as ebb and flow, a common question on the minds of many is “mask, or no mask?”
People can be seen in the community doing both.
Some people have stated they won’t go to any inside gathering where everyone does not adhere to wearing a mask.
Church has been one of those places.
Crossroads Wesleyen Church (CWC) has decided to address the issue by offering a church service each week for anyone in the community to attend where wearing a mask will be required so attendees can feel secure in the fact that everyone there will also be masked, said CWC Pastor Alex Gebert.
This will be a service to put people at ease who want to feel safe in their surroundings and still hear the Word of God.
“All are welcome to attend and take part in this service each week regardless of what your church affiliation is or even if you don’t have one,” said Pastor Gebert.
The first service will be Saturday, Jan. 23, at 5 p.m. The church is located at 220 W. 17th St.
