Library’s mystery nearing; tickets on sale

With the production date about two weeks away, tickets are selling fast for the library’s murder mystery, “The Icicle Twist.”
The library will be the setting for the March 23 production, set in the 1980s in a Colorado ski lodge. The play will start at 7 p.m., and attendees will get to help the cast figure out who murdered Boris Ivanovitch.
Director Jan Graham said they have filled the one open spot in the eight-member cast. Mason Holmes will portray Michael Maitland, the Director of National Defense.
Other cast members include Sue Moore as Laura Maitland, Daniel Morales as Madison Westin, Penny Zadina as Samantha Westin, Kylee Margritz as Tiffany Enderly, Rob Browning as Roberto Martine, Jan Elliott as Alicia Tomasino and Rick Elliott as Buzzy Reinhardt.
Graham noted the cast does not rehearse beforehand. It’s totally ad-lib, she said.
“That’s what makes it so much fun,” she added.
The play has four scenes, and cast members will take a break after the second scene. The public can enjoy refreshments and discuss the possible murder suspects, she said.
Funds from the annual production organized by Friends of the Library for special project at the library not funded with budget dollars.
Tickets are on sale at the library.
