Kody Huff, for whom a Chase County arrest warrant was issued last month, was arrested Friday without incident in McCook.
According to Chase County Sheriff Kevin Mueller, Huff was arrested Friday afternoon by the McCook Police Department. The vehicle in which Huff was a passenger had been stopped by McCook officers, after which both Huff and the driver were taken into custody.
Sheriff Mueller said his office was contacted and local officers picked him up that evening in McCook.
Huff is now housed in the Chase County Jail on a $500,000 bond. He must post 10 percent to be released.
His first court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday this week, Mueller said.
He is charged with second degree assault, terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person.
