Jason Tuller named Mentor of the Month

Jason Tuller is the TeamMate of the Month.
Tuller has been a mentor for Andrew, a sixth grader, for three years
Tuller has also served as treasurer for the TeamMates Board of Directors since the program began in 2014.
Tuller and Andrew enjoy playing games.
“He even lets me win sometimes,” Tuller said.
Tuller said that he feels it is important for children to have an extra adult in their lives to give them a different perspective.
He enjoys playing games and talking to Andrew during their weekly visits.
Tuller serves as the Community Development Director for the city of Imperial.
He is married to Dawn and they have four children:  Amanda, 21; Ashley, 17; JD, 14; and Amber, 10.
Tuller’s hobbies are his four children.
He said he encourages others in the community to get involved in a young person’s life and become a mentor.
“It’s easy and everyone should do it,” he said.
