IVFD responds to carbon monoxide alarm at home

The Imperial Volunteer Fire Department (IVFD) responded to a carbon monoxide alarm in Imperial at 6:28 p.m. Saturday.
“There were high CO2 levels,” IVFD 1st Asst. Chief Brad Wheeler said.
“We really never did find the cause,” he added.
IVFD ventilated the home at 1219 Court Street.
Also responding were Black Hills Energy and Imperial EMS.
Black Hills gave the okay, and the resident was assessed and released without a hospital visit.
