The Chase County Fair Parade is scheduled for Saturday, August 15. Registration and check-in are from 8:00-9:00 a.m. in front of Imperial Manor at 9th and Grant Street.
For the safety of the parade spectators, especially the kids, the parade committee is asking  that no vehicles be parked along the parade route. There have been to many close calls with children darting out from behind vehicles to get candy and nearly getting hit by parade participants.
This means that no cars should be parked along 10th street, from Grant Street to Broadway, or on Main Street from 10th Street to 3rd Street.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but please park somewhere else.
For the line-up of the floats and entrants, you can check the Chase County Fair Facebook page for a map of where to line up before the parade for judging.
This year there will be no Grand Marshall for the parade, due to the theme- “250 years of America.”
