IPD recognizes Sgt. Christopher Bustillos

    The Imperial Police Department recognized that Sargent Christopher Bustillos has served on the IPD for five years.
    Bustillos started his career in law enforcement in Kansas in 2014, bringing years of experience with him when he joined IPD in July 2021, alongside his K9 partner, Jago.
    Together, they served our community with dedication until Jago’s well deserved retirement in 2025.
    In 2024, Bustillos was promoted to Sargeant, taking on leadership roles within the department. Besides his supervisory duties, he has been instrumental in community education, helping connect IPD with the people they serve through outreach and events.
