Hairball, Rude Band cut short by lightning

With a storm moving into the area last Friday at the Chase County Fair, The Rude Band, opener for Hairball shown at top, played for approximately 15 minutes before a short break. Hairball was also cut short when lightning became present. Just over 1,500 people attended the show. The Rude Band returned after the storm for those still there. (Johnson Publications photos)
