Freshmen cheerleaders perform at Citrus Bowl
Two CCS freshmen cheerleaders performed at the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.
Matalie Wallin, daughter of Steve and Char Wallin, and Jordan Jablonski, daughter of Matt and Johna Jablonski, traveled to Orlando, Florida on Dec. 29 to prepare for their pregame performance.
The performance was sponsored by Universal Cheerleaders Association.
The CCS cheerleaders auditioned for the performance while at cheer camp last summer.
“Our coach at camp just made everyone try out because there was no downside to it,” Jablonski said.
There were a few other locations the pair could have chosen to go to, but their camp coach recommended the Citrus Bowl.
