Food helps aid hurricane relief efforts
Jon and Lindsey Feuerborn of Grant spearheaded a local communities’ drive to collect canned goods to send to Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston, Texas. Locations in Imperial, Grant and Ogallala participated in the drive. The Feuerborn family picked up donations in Imperial last Saturday, above, and planned to continue accepting donations through the following Monday. Josh Harms of Madrid volunteered to drive a truck with the donated canned goods from the area communities to the Copperfield Bible Church in Houston for displaced families currently being housed there, Jon Feuerborn said.
