Firemen teach youngsters about fire prevention

Kids from the Rainbow Promise Preschool displayed varied reactions as they watched one of the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department grass rigs spray water. The exercise was part of the department’s observance of fire prevention week last week. Firemen dressed up in full bunker gear and air masks so the youngsters know what they look like and not to hide from a fireman if a fire occurs in their home.
