Entries for ‘My Sweetheart and Me’ photo contest still available

    Have a picture featuring you and your significant other? Enter it in the ‘My Sweetheart and Me’ photo contest by this Friday.
    The winner will receive dinner for two at Broadway Steakhouse and two personalized mugs. Runner-up will receive a full-year subscription to the Imperial Republican and a personalized mug. Both photos will be featured in the Feb. 16 issue.
    The photo must be printable quality and in jpeg format if emailing it in. Physical copies of a picture will be accepted, scanned for the paper’s use and returned right away. Photo credit, names, addresses and phone numbers of the people photographed must be included with the entry.
    Because all pictures will be judged by the Imperial Republican staff, all staff members and relatives are ineligible to participate. All entries will be judged on quality and creativity.
    Couples must be residents of Imperial, Enders, Champion, Lamar or surrounding areas.
