It has been in the works for quite some time and Tuesday, Jan. 6, the Diaper Depository opened it’s doors for the first time, welcoming parents in need of diapers.
With the cost of inflation, families are struggling to keep up with demands of everything needed to enjoy life. The Diaper Depository strives to help ease the burden of having to buy diapers for families with babies.
The depository, located in the HUB 308 building along with the United Methodist Church, will be opened once a month for families to stop by and receive diapers.
The diapers were gathered by the Imperial Ministerial Council, Chase County 4-H and Imperial Super Foods.
