Deadline for county fair’s photo contest near

    Deadline for this year’s Chase County Fair & Expo photo contest is just two weeks away on Friday, Aug. 2.
    Photos must by submitted by 5 p.m. MT that day to be considered in the annual contest judging, said contest coordinator Samie Johnson.
    The four categories for this year’s contest include Green with Envy, Loving Life, Unforgettable Faces and Vintage.  When selecting the categories each year, Johnson said she tries to have something for everyone.
    “It should be a fun year of photos and I can’t wait to see what will be entered,” she said.
    Last year, a new judging process was started, making it easier on the judges and puts a point system in place for the categories, she noted.
    Photos will be judged on Aug. 5. All photos will be on display during the week of this year’s Chase County Fair, and published in this newspaper beforehand.
