Correction on Commissioner races

The number of commissioner candidates that will advance to the General Election were incorrectly listed in this week’s story about the town hall meeting.
In the partisan commissioner races in this year‘s Primary Election, only one of the three candidates in the District 2 race and District 3 race will advance to the General Election.
In the District 2 race, since all three are running on Republican ticket and there are no Democrats running, the race will be decided in the Primary but the winning candidate will still appear on General Election ballot.
The Imperial Republican apologizes about the error.
We encourage all registered voters to vote in the Primary. If you are not registered to vote, do so.
