City offices, library back open to foot traffic
Life continues to get back somewhat to normal with most city buildings reopening and the state’s Directed Health Measures (DHMs) relaxing a bit more for businesses and sports. City playgrounds reopened the first week of June and the pool had its first splashes June 16. The city offices also reopened June 16 to foot traffic after serving customers for about three months through the drive-up. City office staff, above, Tami Ekart and Tricia Moreno are ready at the counter for walk-in customers. At right, Lied Imperial Public Library Director Beth Falla, foreground, and Lisa Fortkamp hang up signs with COVID-19 guidelines. The library reopened to foot traffic June 15.
