City council moving meeting to Zoom
As with most public body meetings these days, the Imperial City Council has also changed its meeting structure due to the state’s COVID-19 Directed Health Measures.
Monday night’s meeting will be the first since the DHM was put in place limiting groups in any one place to 10 or less. It will be conducted by Zoom conferencing.
The council cancelled its April 6 meeting as restrictions continued to grow.
City Clerk/Administrator Jo Leyland said the public will be able to join the 6 p.m. meeting via Zoom. Login information appears in a notice in this week’s legal section on page 8.
Items on Monday’s agenda early this week included an emergency declaration by the mayor, the appointment of Tyler Pribbeno to the West Central Nebraska Development District and a request to sell local business gift certificates via the city website.
