Christmas Fest 2019 will usher in holiday season

Time is short to get entries in for the various events and contests today (Thursday) for the Imperial Chamber of Commerce Christmas Fest 2019.
The holiday celebration was kicked off Nov. 29 with a scratch-off ticket promotion at 15 Imperial businesses.
A total of $3,000 in chamber bucks will be awarded in the scratch-off event, said Chamber President Jana Pribbeno.
Shoppers in those 15 participating businesses have the chance to win $40, $20, $10 or $5 if they receive one of the winning tickets.
Shoppers will be able to collect the chamber bucks right away at that business, she added.
In addition to the scratch-off tickets from the Chamber, some individual businesses will be offering their own “in-house” scratch-off tickets to increase shoppers’ chances of winning, she said.
Participating business include Adams Drug, Adams Lumber, Beverage Barn, Bomgaars, Broken Arrow Cellars, 509 Broadway, Harchelroad Motors, Imperial Republican, Lavender Market, Owens True Value, Pizza Hut, Platinum T-Shirt & Embroidery, Prior’s New Generation Fabrics, S & P Liquor and Super Foods.
