Cheerleaders hold fourth annual car wash

Chase County Schools (CCS) cheerleaders held a fundraiser car wash on Friday at the Frenchman Valley Coop car wash station. The funds raised will help support Longhorn sports, group organizations throughout the year, as well as state cheer competition in the spring. Although they fell a little short of their 60-car goal, the cheerleaders washed 53 vehicles and a semi-truck from Texas. The cheerleaders split into two groups and worked two different shifts. The cheerleaders, above, had some relief from the sun by using the wand wash bays and made quick work of getting multiple cars done at once. Pictured below, cheerleaders working second shift include, front from left, Virginia Kimble and Arelys Arteaga, middle from left, Yalexa Saenz, Coach Amanda Kimble, Peyten Buckley, McKenzie Vogt and Carleigh Lewis. Standing at top is Jolee Schoenholz. First shift cheerleaders were Chloe Soltis, Matalie Wallin, Jordan Jablonski, Sophie Fiedler, Delaney Krutsinger and Madelynn Hanes.
