The heart of a small town lies in its people, and here in Imperial, that heart beats strong with compassion and unity. Our strength shines brightest when we come together to support one another and this summer proved just how powerful that spirit can be.
Food scarcity is a silent struggle in many rural areas, but in Chase County, we refuse to let anyone face it alone. The Chase County Food Pantry continues to serve as a beacon of hope, made possible by the unwavering generosity of our community. Whether through monetary gifts or donations of non-perishable food, each contribution nurtures the spirit that makes our town thrive.
Thanks to these efforts, they proudly wrapped up our first-ever Summer Food Program, where over June and July, 21,342 meals were served to our neighbors. That’s more than a number, it’s a testament to what happens when a community steps up. A huge shoutout to the incredible kitchen crew, dedicated volunteers, and every individual who supported the mission.
Thank you to all for being part of the movement to ensure a healthier, stronger Chase County for all.
