Chase County Board of Equalization approves tax corrections, sets levies

The Chase County Board of Equalization met Tuesday, Oct. 14, approving two mobile home tax corrections and adopting the county’s levies for the coming fiscal year.
Chairman Jacci Brown called the meeting to order at 8:45 a.m. Commissioners Billie Muehlenkamp and Kurt Bernhardt were present, along with County Assessor Tori Mueller and County Clerk Wendy Moe.
The board unanimously approved the minutes of the Sept. 9 meeting.
Assessor Mueller presented two tax corrections involving mobile homes. The board approved tax correction #1341 for Parcel ID 150121385, totaling $179.12 in corrected 2025 taxes. It also approved tax correction #1342 for Parcel ID 150121093, with $232.84 in corrected 2025 taxes.
Mueller also presented a clerical error for the board’s consideration. Commissioners declined to take action pending additional information.
In other business, the board unanimously passed Resolution 2025-22, setting the 2025-26 Chase County levies. A full copy of the resolution is available at the County Clerk’s office.
With no further discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
