CCCH partnering with state to expand testing

Weekly testing available in Imperial after online assessment is completed

Chase County Community Hospital and Clinic is coordinating with the State of Nebraska to provide free, weekly COVID-19 testing in Imperial through the end of the year.
The first day for testing is Monday, Nov. 23.
Residents can take an online assessment through the TestNebraska portal and, if eligible, will receive a free test.
Test collections will be taken at the Imperial EMS building at 1233 Grant Street from 7 to 9 a.m. each Monday through Dec. 28.
People will be tested in a drive-up format on the following dates—Nov. 23, Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, Dec. 21 and Dec. 28.
Appointments are necessary by going to TestNebraska.com.
Eligible residents will receive a QR code good for eight days. The code will be unique to that specific individual and not transferable.
Residents approved for testing should bring the QR code and their driver’s license to the appointment. Those without access to the internet may call the TestNebraska call center for assistance at 402-207-9377.
From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nebraskans have been asking for more widespread access to testing, according to state officials.
