Cajun crawfish benefit honors local VFW commander

Last Saturday, the VFW Post 4688 honored Post Commander PJ Pajerski with a cajun crawfish benefit dinner at noon. The proceeds from the dinner went to the VFW scholarship fund in Pajerski’s name. The event began with a color guard presentation of the flags, followed by a prayer before the meal given by Pastor David Kahle of the Zion Lutheran Church.
