Bloodmobile scheduled for November

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be having their fall blood drive at Chase County Schools’ (CCS) auxiliary gym on Nov. 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The goal is 90 units of blood, said Angie Paisley, CCS  nurse and coordinator for the school blood drive.
Donors of all blood types are urged to roll up their sleeves and help save lives. There is an especially critical need for A+ blood type right now.
According to the Red Cross, this blood type is going to hospitals faster than donors are coming in.
To set up an appointment, call Paisley at CCS at 308-882-4304, or appointments can be scheduled online at redcross blood.org, CCS blood drive, she said.
Paisley added that walk-ins are welcome, too.
