Another successful Pheasants Forever banquet for area’s Southwestern chapter

Saturday’s Pheasants Forever (PF) banquet sponsored by the Southwestern Nebraska chapter is in the books, and reports from organizers indicate it was another successful effort. An estimated 175 attended the event held at the new exhibit building on the fairgrounds in Imperial. Above, JD Tuller of Imperial was the lucky winner of the youth shotgun. Seven of the 14 youths who participated in last fall’s youth mentor hunt attended the banquet, and their names were put in a hat for the shotgun drawing. He’s pictured with Casey Francis, who was his mentor at the hunt. Middle, Kelsey Steinkraus selected this Henry Golden Boy Rifle as her choice in the “pick of the litter” contest, while youths line up for the free BB guns donated, pictured below.
