Annual Vision of Trees coming in December

    The Champion Jr. Women’s Club and Champion Community Center will be holding their 15th annual Vision of Trees event Dec. 7 and 8 at the Champion Community Center.
    Times for the two-day event are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
    The theme this year is “Christmas Magic.”
    Saturday there will be a baked potato bar. Sunday will feature a soup luncheon. Cookies will be provided for dessert.
    The cost of a meal both days is $5 per person.
     There will be a raffle drawing and silent auction on Sunday beginning at 2:30.
    Raffle items include wooden outdoor furniture by Lloyd Hazard, a handmade quilt by Rhonda Smith, a handmade item by Betty Jo Goodell and a Christmas tree with decorations donated by the Challengers 4-H Club.
    Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each or 12 for $10, and participants need not be present to win.
    A table with handcrafted items and baked goods to buy will be available at the event.
    Some of the entertainment will include live music, letters to Santa Claus, face painting and Santa Claus will visit on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
