2025 Chase County Hospital Cancer Walk continues to raise funds for community - tickets on sale now

On Saturday, September 27, the Chase County Hospital will be holding the Cancer Walk at the track at Chase County Schools.
This year’s schedule : Registration begins at 5:30. 6:00 p.m. is the honorary walk. 6:30 p.m. will be a light meal and the raffle drawing.
The event is to raise funds to help cancer patients in the area with their cancer related expenses, like prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
This year, Gary Patch, former CCS teacher and cancer survivor, will be sharing his personal story of strength and hope at the event.
To guarantee a T-shirt, participants need to register by Sept. 18. The purpose of the walk is to raise funds for local cancer patients.

Since 2010, the Chase County Hospital Foundations Cancer Funds have assisted 101 individuals with $85,750, covering financial burdens of treatment.
Additionally, $11,036 has gone toward cancer screenings for 40 people, catching the disease early and saving lives.

There will be a split the pot drawing to support the Cancer Funds Program. The pot grows with every ticket sold.
One ticket is $20, 5 tickets-$75, 10 tickets-$100, 20 tickets-$150 and 40 tickets-$200. The 50-50 drawing will be held after the cancer walk on Sept. 27. If you have provided your name and number on the ticket, you do not have to be present to win.
