‘Remember When... in Wauneta’ offers an evening of reminiscing

The Wauneta Public Library and Chase County Historical Society have teamed up to provide area residents an evening dedicated to remembering old times. “Remember When... in Wauneta” will feature an evening of reminiscing on Wauneta’s history.
Charley Colton, president of the Chase County Historical Society, will be at the Wauneta Public Library from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14.
While there, Colton will share Wauneta artifacts and stories from the Chase County Historical Society collection. He will also give attendees a tour of the many artifacts housed at the library.
The focus of the evening is to take some time to dive into Wauneta’s history and celebrate all the things that make Wauneta what it is today. Attendees are encouraged to bring memorabilia and photos from their own collections to share with the group. Personal stories related to Wauneta’s history are also welcome.
Call the library at 308-394-5243 for more information about the event.
