WP looking for momentum heading into RPAC tourney
The Wauneta-Palisade volleyball team’s record fell to .500 with three losses last week.
The Broncos traveled to Perkins County Tuesday for a triangular.
WP lost its opening game to Garden County 20-25, 26-28.
P. Cox led the Broncos with nine kills.
WP also lost the final match of the night to the Plainsmen 23-25, 13-25.
Once more, P. Cox led WP, finishing the night with eight kills.
Sumner-Eddyville-Miller ruined the Broncos homecoming night with a three-set sweep of WP, 18-25, 20-25, 20-25.

The Broncos played Medicine Valley (8-10) at home Tuesday.
Friday, the squad will be part of a football/volleyball doubleheader at Wallace. The JV game will begin at 3 p.m. MT.
The RPAC Tournament will begin Monday.
With a 10-10 record, the Broncos will be the third seed. First-seeded Maywood/Hayes Center (20-4) and second-seeded Hitchcock County (15-10) will host first and second round games.
WP’s first game will be at Trenton against Maxwell (5-21).
With a win the Broncos will take on either Hitchcock County or Dundy County Stratton (0-23).
Joining MHC will be fourth seed Wallace and fifth seed Paxton.
Alma claimed the top seed in the East division, followed by Cambridge, Bertrand, Southwest, Southern Valley, Medicine Valley and Arapahoe.
