WP, CCS represented at track camp

Eighteen Wauneta-Palisade and 30 Chase County athletes took part in the Ed Fye Track Camp June 3 in Imperial.
Fye, a Wauneta native, brought coaches Brad Jenny, Aaron Fuller, among others, plus Doane athletes to help with the camp.
Other sites for Fye’s camp are Aurora, Ainsworth, Lexington and Crete.
Fye Named NAIA Co-Men’s Coach of the Year
Last week Fye was named NAIA Co-Coach of the Year for the men’s outdoor season. A multiple Coach of the Year winner on the women’s side, it is Fye’s first Coach of the Year honor for the men’s team.
Fye’s Doane Tigers’ men’s team was NAIA co-national champions this spring after Doane had 15 All-Americans at the  national championship meet
Fye was also the Great Plains Athletic Conference Men’s Coach of the Year and the United States Track and Field and Cross County Coaches Association Men’s Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
