NSAA approves state track meet changes

Changes to the Nebraska Schools Activities Association state track meet were approved at the NSAA Board of Directors meeting Sept. 16.
The state meet ran on a four-day schedule this past spring due to COVID. The NSAA got such a positive response, it approved a four-day schedule for the 2022 state meet.
Though Classes A and D have competed together, as well as Classes B and C, this spring will have different pairings.
Classes A and B will be Wednesday, May 18 and Thursday May 19.
Classes C and D will be the following days, Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21.
The classes will run events concurrently rather than have separate morning and afternoon sessions.
Dates for the district meets were also announced. Classes A and B will hold their district meets Tuesday, May 10, while Classes C and D will be Thursday, May 12.
