Klima wins Sunday’s Kenny Denker Memorial Men’s Open

    Wauneta’s Matt Klima took first place at the Kenny Denker Memorial Men’s Open by one stroke over Joe Humphrey Sunday.
    Klima carded a 115 after 27 holes, with rounds of 41, 39 and 35.
    Humphrey led by two strokes at the end of 18 holes, but finished with 116 for the tournament.
    Joel Burke, the medalist with a tournament low round of 37, tied with Joe Johnston with final scores of 122.
    Players could earn their way into the championship by their score or could declare for the flight. Five of the 10 players in the championship flight declared.
