Johnstons, Cochran team wins Frenchman Valley Mutual Aid Three-Man Scramble Sunday

    Joe Johnston, Jon Johnston and Brad Cochran claimed the crown at this year’s Frenchman Valley Mutual Aid Fire District Tournament’s three-man scramble at Enders Lake Golf Course. The trio finished atop the 25-team field with a score of 63.
    Finishing second at the June 6 event were the teams of Craig Poppe, Derek Stafford and Troy Space and Rogen Einspahr, Joe Humphrey and Matt Howard with matching scores of 65.
    Three teams tied with scores of 70 in the first flight, while strong second rounds gave the top two teams in the second flight scores of 69.

    1. John Miller, Roxane Miller, Rod Beemer, 39+35=74; 2. Todd Courter, Cody Cochran, Tony Cochran, 40+37=77; 3. Lee Miller, Kenny Wilson, Kerr Bauer, 40+38=78.
