Enders, Benkelman courses combine for Benders Tourney

Enders Lake Golf Course and Benkelman Golf Course joined together for the first Benders Tournament, played July 31 and Aug. 1.
Sponsored by Channel and Aaron Keiser, the tournament opened with 18 holes at the Enders’ course Saturday and wrapped up with another 18 holes Sunday in Benkelman.
Zach Loker and Blaine Rosenfelt won the tournament by six strokes, shooting a 64 at Enders and 61 at Benkelman.
Second and third places were closely contested. Randy Styskal and Dave Engel’s final score of 131 was one stroke better than Nathan Auffet and Rod Auffet.
Twenty-one teams took part in the tournament.
