Doane track camp Thursday at CCS

Coaches and team members of Doane University’s track teams will be at Chase County Schools Thursday for the Ed Fye Track Camp.
The camp will start at 9 a.m. with high jump, triple jump, shot put and sprints/blocks. The session will conclude at 12 noon.
From 1 to 4 p.m. will be long jump, hurdles, pole vault and discus, as well as cross country.
The camp will cover theory and application of techniques for each event.
Each session is $45. Walk-in registrations will be accepted.
The camp is open to all ages. Parents may sit in on the clinic.
Athletes should dress appropriately for drills and bring their own equipment.
Joining Fye will be Dustin Llewellyn, Ken Marvin, Zach Lurz, Mario Parnell, Nick Thixton, Aaron Fuller, Ryan Dorshorst, Brad Jenny and Doane athletes.
The Doane men’s team tied for the NAIA national championship last week thanks, in part, to 12 All-American finishes.
