District football teams announced for WP, CCS

    Wauneta-Palisade had four players named to the District D6-5 football first team, while Chase County had five team members on its respective first team.
    Leading the way were three seniors, center Grant Walker, defensive lineman Aidan Kennicutt and linebacker/defensive back Garrett Hanna. Junior running back Kyle Jutten joined them on the first team.
    Junior Michael Duvel was named to the second team as an end.
    Earning honorable mention were junior Jacksen Littrel and senior Hunter Miner.
    In the C2-6 district, senior Ryan Bernhardt was joined by juniors Dawson Mollendor and Kade Anderson on the defensive first team. Sophomores Jaret Peterson and Zach Herbert were named to the first team offense.
    Seniors Morel Jurado and Colby Nickless were honorable mention.
