Thursday, Nov. 13, the Chase County FFA held it’s annual soup and pie supper/labor auction.
Patrons gathered in the commons area of the school to enjoy a bowl of soup and a slice of pie, before entering the CCS Gym for the auction.
Over 50 FFA members were auctioned out for labor to the guests that attended. When FFA members are sold, the successful bidder lets them know when and what they will be doing for the bidder.
All of the money raised at the auction is used to fund the local FFA chapter. The Labor Auction and the Fruit Sale are the two major money-makers to help fund the Imperial FFA Chapter.
