Brophy Electric is now under new ownership, although there won’t be to many changes. Owner Bill Brophy sold the business to his son Ben and plans on retiring.
Brophy Electric opened for business in January of 1981. After 44 and a half years, Bill has decided it was time to turn over the reigns and sell to his son Ben, who has worked at the business for as long as he can remember.
None of the services will change at Brophy Electric and all of the present employees will continue to work there.
When asked what his plans were for retirement, Brophy responded, “whatever I decide I want to do each day”. Brophy said he wants to keep his schedule open so if something comes up that he wants to do, he has the freedom to do it.
