Adams Lumber remains one of Imperial’s longtime businesses
The Imperial Chamber of Commerce selected Adams Lumber Co. as February’s Business of the Month.
Adams Lumber has been in business for 102 years.
Chad Leibbrandt has been the owner/manager for almost nine years, he said.
The Imperial location has a staff of 10 employees to take care of customers’ needs.
“We provide anything from lumber to finished cabinets, and lumber can be cut to order,” Leibbrandt said.
Some of the departments Adams Lumber has available at the store include the paint and electric departments, wood and vinyl fencing, window screen repair, a rental department and a sundry of other inventory items too numerous to name.
The store has an interior designer on staff, Christine Clevenger, who is available to help plan remodels for bathrooms and kitchens, as well as displays to choose from, said Leibbrandt.
“Our newest department is for windows and doors. We also have a new, bigger display area,” he added.
He said that staff can usually help with small to large projects.
“Free delivery is provided when needed,” Leibbrandt said.
