    At a meeting May 14, Chase County Commissioners approved a contract for jail services to be presented to Imperial’s city council.

Chase County fans endured the weather to help cheer on the Longhorns at the state track meet in Omaha last week. The Lady Longhorns came home with a runner-up team trophy.

    With more games on the schedule this summer, coaches for Imperial’s junior and senior Legion baseball teams are happy with the depth of their pitching staff.

    Due to the rain Tuesday, the Nebraska Schools Activities Association cancelled the first day of the Class C golf tournament in Kearney.
