Ogallala, North Platte hosting pesticide applicator classes

    The Lincoln Logan McPherson Extension Office and Keith Arthur Extension Office are offering private pesticide applicator’s certification trainings, in addition to those scheduled in Chase County.
    Here is the schedule for the pesticide classes still on schedule for Ogallala, North Platte and other towns:
    Feb. 9, 9 – 11:30 a.m., MT, Ogallala, Keith County Fairgrounds
    Feb. 9, 1:15 – 3:45 p.m., MT, Arthur, Arthur County Courthouse Meeting Room   
    Feb. 10, 9 – 11:30 a.m., CT, North Platte, WCREEC Classroom, 402 W State Farm Road
    Feb. 22, 9:30 – 12 noon, CT, Stapleton, Logan County Fairgrounds
    March 11, 1:30 – 4 p.m., CT, North Platte, WCREEC Classroom, 402 W State Farm Road.
    April 13, 9 – 11:30 a.m., CT, North Platte, WCREEC Classroom, 402 W State Farm Road.
    Producers should call the Extension Office at least one week prior to the training so enough materials and spaces will be available.   
    Under COVID 19 restrictions space is limited so pre-registration is required. Due to space limits, organizers may have to turn away participants to another date.
    Cost of the training classes is $50 per applicator.
    COVID 19 protocols will be followed including face coverings which will be provided.
