Mid-Plains seeking input on future college needs

Mid-Plains Community College representatives came to Imperial last Wednesday to gather input on  what programs and partnerships the college needs to focus on going forward.
College President Ryan Purdy and Tad Pfeifer, director of institutional effectiveness, met with  more than 30 individuals from the Imperial area during a pair of focus meetings.
Similar meetings have been held at the college’s other five locations.
Purdy said the college is developing a strategic plan to carry out their vision for the future: “First Choice For Our Region.”
Purdy said their goal as a college is to be the top-of-mind first choice for students, business training and local partnerships.
