MCC offering intro to fly fishing class

    With spring finally making its appearance and the promise of summer on its way, the fish are starting to bite.
    With that in mind the Business and Community Education Department at MCC is offering an introduction to fly fishing class. Nebraska offers some excellent fly fishing opportunities and this session opens the door to those anglers who wish to explore it.
    The class is geared towards beginners but is for anyone who is interested in this sport.
    Rick Windham of Outdoor University, North Platte, will be the instructor. The course is set for this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon CT, beginning in McMillen Hall room 201.
    Towards the end of the class period students will go to the Event Center gym to practice their new found skill.
    Participants can bring their own equipment or use equipment provided. The cost of the course is $15.
