Mathews Family Chiropractic to celebrate 20 years in 2020

■ Editor’s note: The Imperial Chamber of Commerce selects a Business of the Month, which will be identified that month with a banner. Selection is made at the monthly Chamber meetings, and this newspaper is featuring a story on that business each month.

Mathews Family Chiropractic opened shop in Benkelman in January of 2000.
Dr. Jason Mathews and wife Adrienne are both graduates of Dundy Co. Stratton High School and have three boys.
Mathews did his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, then went to Parker University in Dallas, Texas for chiropractic school.
“I remember I thought about being a surgeon,” Mathews said.
His interpretation of chiropractic work was just “popping backs all day.”
“I love getting to know people,” Mathews added. “I definitely like the people the best. And healing, as cliche as that is.”
Mathews and his wife bought the Imperial chiropractic practice from Calvin Weiss in February 2013, and expanded to Grant in December 2017.
Mathews and Dr. Kendal Glidden, also of Benkelman, split their time between the three offices.
Mathews is in Imperial Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Glidden is there on Tuesday.
For Benkelman, Glidden is available Monday mornings and Fridays, while Mathews is available Tuesday afternoons and all day Thursdays.
Glidden is in Grant Monday afternoons and all day Wednesday and Thursday.
